Testing MAXIMUS

This - the first in a series of tests of fishing products. Many thanks to the company ECO-Group, for providing testing products.

 We begin our series of tests with the budget line spinning MAXIMUS Workhorse. To test the model are taken SWH33H and SWH27H. Spinning designed for fishing from the shore "classic" or, as it is called "snap-in Moscow." Build a fast, a test of 15-50 grams, length 3.30 m and 2.70 m respectively. The material - graphite IMF, with the ring vstavkamiSIC. Tulip, preventing overlap. It seems to be different sticks need only long, but this belief is false. They are completely different. But, first things first.

The first impression.
The first thing we're doing picking up a stranger spinning - shake and inspect))) did the same myself.
The build quality of both rods at the top. Made soundly, and no details are often found on rods "budget" price range I found.
On the "shocked" at once revealed differences - SWH33H «noodles." This disappointed me a bit, but as it turned out, in spinning this deficiency disappears, yeah, probably not a disadvantage - just a rod for its intended conditions of fishing.

Rod SWH33H poised for a sufficiently heavy and powerful coils. Something like 4000 with a weight of about 400-450 gram will be the fact, though with 250 gram in 2000 I was quite comfortable.
 Quite a different picture with SWH27H - first ring is nearly 10 inches closer to the coil and the diameter is much smaller (inner diameter 18 mm, against 25 for SWH33H). If you put the coil in 4000 - beating the cord of the ring and casting distance significantly decreases. This form requires the coil 2000-2500, weighing about 300 grams. It is this combination makes a perfect balance (for me, of course - everyone has his own grip).

The first exit on the pond. Terms - the almost complete absence of flow and extensive grounding. The first cast SWH33H immediately showed that spinning really long range - using thick and tough braid TUF-LINE Plus 0.15 mm easy for me to able to send 40 grams in the classic snap-on 90 meters. No "noodles" is not felt, not only for spinning, designed to catch the classic snap-sensitivity is very good. Drove a stick in different weights found that despite the announced test, it is a very good job and with less weight and a great send away the heavier loads. The best results are in range with a weight of 40-50 grams, and 60 flies almost as well. This stick is quite capable to work with 80 grams.

Intrigued by his sensitivity and ability to work with light weight jig tried to snap a 10 gram Cheburashka - a step at a depth of 9 meters is quite distinct, and the difference between sand / stones / sludge in sight. It is worthy of a stick and see how it will behave on the course.

SWH27H was contrary to my expectations, very different - first of all, I was surprised by the sensitivity. Spinning "knocking" in the hand just like a good jig rod. But a more rigorous to overload. 60 grams of force to throw the reflux of them I did not dare for fear of breaking the tip-loaded whip. Despite the fact that both spinning fast action, SWH27H tighter and evil, which affects its sensitivity. It is like when fishing for predators inactive because the slightest touch sends the bait.

The second test was conducted on the "cauldron" formed by the collision of very strong currents with almost the same strong return flow. The bottom - deep rocky edge of the table.
It is opened all the qualities of long-range SWH33H. Just a great stick for fishing in strong currents. His "lapshistost" inherent milder spinning allows you to make very accurate long-range non-forcible casting, thanks to a good message. In this case there is one pebble bottom. Caught accidentally snag and showed his remarkable work on the vyvazhivanii major trophies - in strong jets of boiler koryazhka behaved like a mad pike rod perfectly handle all jumps and throws.
SWH27H did not bring any surprises, showing a stable job. However, it is all the same to such a strong current working worse than SWH33H.


In both tests was razlovit spinning, and although there was no trophy, the pleasure of fishing were great.

Outcome:
SWH33H - a very good long-range spinning to catch on the strong current. Designed to catch the classics, but, if necessary, it is able to provide the wiring jig.
SWH27H - spinning from the category of universals, which has good sensitivity, which allows you to catch as a brave and classic accessories.
Both are spinning in my view, better their "budget" category.
